OnePlus on Wednesday (July 23) launched the new budget Android tablet OnePlus Pad Lite series in India.

The new device sports a 11-inch full HD+ (1920×1200p) LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, and offers 500 nits peak brightness.

It also features an optional SIM tray (only in LTE model), a Type-C port, quad-speakers (two on each side, in landscape orientation) and supports dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 ac), and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless tech.

Inside, OnePlus Pad Lite comes with 6nm class MediaTek Helio G100 octa-core processor, Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, Android 15-based OxygenOS 15.1, 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage and a massive 9,340mAh battery with 33W fast-charging capabilities.

It also features a 5MP main camera with an LED flash on the back and a 5MP front camera for video calls. Both the cameras can record up to 1080p full HD videos at 30 frames per second (fps).

The new tablet comes in one aero blue colour. It is available in two variants— Wi-Fi only (with 6GB RAM  + 128GB storage) and Wi-Fi + LTE (with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage) for Rs 15,999 and Rs 17,999, respectively.

In India, OnePlus device will be competing with Redmi Pad 2 and Oppo Pad SE in the budget Android tablet segment.
