Last week, Vivo launched the budget Y400 series phone. Now, it has unveiled the new mid-range premium V60 series handset in India.
The latest Android mobile features a 6.77-inch full HD+ (2392 × 1080p) quad curved AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, supports 120Hz refresh rate, offers up to 5000 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ content.
The V60's display is protected by a Diamond Shield Glass protective cover and comes with an IP68+IP69 water-and-dust resistant durability rating, a type-C port, an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 be, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G modem (13 NSA/SA bands) and dual-SIM slots (type: nano).
The Vivo device runs Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15, a 4nm class Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor with Adreno 722 GPU, 8GB / 12GB / 16GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB / 512GB UFS 2.2 storage and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
In addition to Google's Gemini Live and Circle to Search features, it supports several generative Artificial Intelligence (gen AI) features, such as AI Four Season Portrait, AI Eraser, AI Audio Transcriber, AI Smart Call Assistant and more.
It boasts of a triple camera module--main 50MP (with 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX766 sensor, f/1.88 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) with 8MP (f/2.2) 120-degree ultra-wide camera and a 50MP (with 1/1.95-inch IMX882 3x periscope telephoto camera, f/2.65, OIS, ZEISS optics) with Aura LED light on the back.

It also features a 50MP (f/2.2) autofocus front camera for selfies and video calling. Both the front and the rear camera can support 4K video recording.
The device comes in three colours-- auspicious gold, mist grey, and moonlit blue. It will be available in four configurations--8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage--for Rs 36,999, Rs 38,999, Rs 40,999 and Rs 45,999, respectively.
