Xiaomi earlier this week unveiled the new Redmi 15 series budget phone in India. Now, the company is all geared up to launch the mid-range Redmi Note 15 Pro series later this week.
Xiaomi is hosting the product launch event on August 21 in China. It is expected to introduce two devices-- Redmi Note 15 Pro and 15 Pro+.
The top-end model Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is said to come with a 1.5K resolution display and a big 7,000mAh battery.
It is also expected to come with an IP69 water-and-dust resistant rating, and the display will be safeguarded by Xiaomi's propreitary Dragon Crystal Glass shield. And, on the back, it will have fibre-based protection and will be able to survive a fall on hard granite stone.
Also, it is touted to be the first Xiaomi phone to boast satellite connectivity to send emergency SOS SMS for help from rescue agencies and family/friends.
The device is said to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 octa-core processor with up to 16GB RAM, Android 15-based HyperOS and feature triple camera module with a 50MP telephoto lens.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro is expected to come with a watered-down specification compared to the Redmi Note 15 Pro+.
More details of the new Redmi Note 15 Pro series will be revealed later this week on August 21. Also, Xiaomi is expected to bring the same device to India a little later in the year.
