In March, Google rolled out new features, including the option to talk with Gemini Live, an advanced generative Artificial Intelligence-based AI chatbot on select Android devices. Now, the company is bringing more capabilities, including camera and screen sharing to select devices.

These capabilities are being rolled out to Google's latest devices Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL and 9 Pro Fold, along with Samsung's Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra.

With the two new feature, device owners will be able to converse with Gemini Live even more freely. The user has to point the camera and ask Gemini Live for suggestions.

For instance, for cleaning a room, just point the phone's camera to a particular place and ask Gemini Live AI bot where to begin the cleaning.

It will list where to start the cleaning process. Also, help you with how to declutter and organise the room to make it look clean and tidy.

Gemini Live can also help the user with drafting a creative presentation for work. With the screen-sharing feature, users can ask Gemini Live to offer ideas on what picture or art piece to start off a keynote presentation and end it. Also, it can help with summarising large data sets into simple pointers.

The new Gemini Live features can also help with troubleshooting consumer electronics products at home. For instance, if the smart TV is having trouble connecting to the cable network or Wi-Fi internet, users can just point their phone's camera to it and ask Gemini Live to analyse the problem and help fix it with a step-by-step guide. If required, it can help you with a video tutorial on the phone.

Another use case for screen-sharing is helping find the right product or apparel on an e-commerce application. Gemini Live will ask you some questions such as fabric type, washing machine washable type, size and price range and based on answers, it can list the apparel in a few seconds. Currently, users have to open the filters and then select their choice. However, with the Gemini Live, users can just speak to it.

With Screen sharing, users can also ask Gemini Live if their words or thoughts written on the social media platform are grammatically correct. Or, he/she can even ask Gemimi Live to come up with new thoughts that match your thinking and post it online.

Currently, users can interact with Gemini Live in natural, free-flowing conversations between two individuals in more than 45 different languages, including Hindi.

Google has announced that bring more value-added features to Gemini Live in the coming months.
