Google on Wednesday (December 11) hosted the company's first-ever Google Workspace Media Summit in Bengaluru.
In the event titled 'Bring AI to Work’, the Search engine giant revealed some really interesting details of how advanced generative Artificial Intelligence (gen AI) Gemini-powered tools have significantly improved the productivity for corporate clients of Google Workspace.
Google commissioned report said that the companies with Google Workspace had a low attrition rate compared to firms using rival branded solutions. Also, it helped companies register around 75 per cent growth in innovation.
Companies with Google Workspace were able to save 171 hours per user annually, which is equivalent to one month of working days. Also, it reduced on-demand tech support costs by 20 per cent and delivered an impressive 336 per cent ROI (Return on Investment).
Zomato, Hero, Vodafone, Instacart and more are clients of Google Workspace.

Google showcased several use cases of Gemini, NotebookLM and other Workspace tools. They are capable of processing complex questions faster than other Large Language Models (LLMs) and deliver accurate and reliable results.
With the Google Vids tool on Google Docs, users can create videos with just text prompts in a few seconds.
Close to 70 per cent of enterprise users utilise ‘Help me write’ and Gemini's suggestions to write meeting summaries and professional grammatically correct emails on Docs and Gmail. Also, more than 75 per cent of users generate images via Google tools to create slides for presentations.
Also, Google Workspace offers top-notch security, which is very important for all-- small and big- companies, who handle user data to deliver user experience on the applications.
Google Workspaces offers custom-built LLMs to clients. For instance, Gmail’s spam protection has improved significantly. It can block 20 per cent more spam and analyse 1,000x more user-reported spam daily. In Google Drive, LLMs have accelerated responses to novel spam and phishing attacks by 90 per cent.
