Samsung has one of the most advanced Aritificial Intelligence (AI)-powered Bespoke refrigerator series. They come with smart cameras and displays and know which items need to be restocked. Based on groceries available inside, they can suggest what dish to make and even offer recipes.

Now, the South Korean consumer electronics major has showcased its next-generation refrigerators, which can perform even more tasks than before.

In the latest 4-Door French Door and Side-by-Side refrigerators, Samsung is offering a massive 9-inch AI Home screen and cutting edge sensors to accurately recognise not just food items like fruits, vegetables, dairy products, but also processed food items as well. They can recognise up to 50 items inside the fridge and help owner plan their meals for the day.

Further, SmartView Mirroring enables seamless screen sharing from smartphones and Samsung TVs. With the dedicated gallery feature, it lets families display their favourite photos, adding a personal touch to the kitchen.

The most notable feature is the ability to trace your misplaced Galaxy phone at home. The owner has to just say 'Bixby, find my phone'. Based on the person's voice, it accurately rings the right handset. It can record every family member's voice to offer customised suggestions.

Also, users can control air conditioners, window blinds and many more Internet-of-things (Iot) smart home gadgets using the AI on these refrigerators.

These fridges also have a Beverage Center that includes a water dispenser and a 1.4L Auto-Fill Water Pitcher that is dishwasher safe and BPA free.

It also boasts of AI Energy Mode feature, allowing users to reduce energy consumption by up to an additional 10 per cent. Users can choose to activate the mode always or when electricity bills are expected to exceed the preset target.

Initially, these fridges will be launched in the US and European regions. They will be introduced in Asia including India in the coming months.
