"Quite a number of Governors have expressed interest in taking delegations to India and we are actively working with them try to crystallize these. Among them is Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina, who has indicated an interest in perhaps going there sometime later this year in the fall," Shankar said.
"But these are yet to crystallize fully," the Indian Ambassador said without giving any further detail.
