One person was killed in a crude bomb blast in Moghbazar area of Dhaka in Bangladesh.
Cocktail bombs were hurled from a flyover towards the 1971 Liberation War Veterans Association and a church also happens to be in the vicinity, according to reports.
A crude bomb, hurled by unidentified men from a flyover, struck a person who died on the spot, Inspector (Operations) of Hatirjheel Police Station Md Mohiuddin was quoted as saying by The Daily Star newspaper.
The incident comes after a Hindu man was lynched and media offices were gutted in the country.
The attack comes a day before the arrival of Bangladesh Nationalist Party's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, who is the leading contender for the Prime Minister post in the upcoming elections in the country.
