Pakistan jewellery shop robbed

Three armed dacoits robbed a jewellery shop of gold ornaments worth over Rs.12 million (around $132,000) in Pakistan's Lahore city, Geo News reported.

The robbery took place in Chohang area Saturday.

The dacoits barged into the jewellery shop, rained bullets into the glass cases displaying the ornaments and then fled with the booty.

Witnesses said they kept on firing in the air as they made their way out, creating panic in the market area.
