A renovated 750-metre stretch on Church Street was inaugurated by Ministers KJ George and Ramalinga Reddy. Work began on Feb. 22, 2017, but the civic body missed several deadlines to complete the project. The road is now paved with cobblestones and the footpath has become wider. Smart LED lights adorn the street.
