39 more dengue cases reported

Thirty-nine fresh cases of dengue were reported in Delhi on Friday.

The total number has gone up to 1,096, of which ten cases have been reported from outside Delhi. South Delhi has crossed the 400 mark according to estimates provide by the Municipal Corporation.

Thirty-seven cases were reported from the three Municipal Corporations, one case was reported from New Delhi Municipal Corporation area while another from outside Delhi in Uttar Pradesh.

South Delhi Municipal Corporation reported the maximum number of 407 cases, while 359 cases have been detected from the North Delhi Municipal Corporation area and 279 cases have so far been reported from East Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Shahadra North and South and Narela reported five cases each on Friday, which is the maximum number, followed by Najafgarh, Rohini and Central Delhi.
