An Eco Club to create awareness about the environment and related issues was inaugurated at Sree Cauvery Educational Institutions PU College recently.
Scientist and green activist E V Jagannath who inaugurated the club spoke on the importance of young generation coming together to save the environment.
Education standing committee president Dr K C Belliyappa, Kodava Samaja secretary K M Belliyappa, education standing committee treasurer Jyothi Poonacha, principal A K Kushalappa, convenor Sheela and others were present.
