Taking umbrage at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah assailing him and his party, Janata Dal (S) supremo H D Deve Gowda, on Thursday, charged that Siddaramaiah had no moral right to do so.

Claiming that Siddaramaiah had surpassed the Bellary brothers when it came to corruption, Deve Gowda said, barring Siddaramaiah, everyone in Congress, were part of Janata Parivar, and knew the truth.

He said his party would give a fitting reply to the comment  that JD(S) would not win a single seat in the State.

Over the next 15 days, Deve Gowda will be touring the State to campaign for the party. JD(S), he said, would seek votes by highlighting the misrule of the NDA and UPA governments, and urge voters to strengthen regional parties.

Manifesto

The party will release its manifesto shortly. The party, on Wednesday, announced the names of Nandini Alva for Bangalore Central, Abdul Azeem for Bangalore North, Ruth Manorama for Bangalore South, and Prabhakar Reddy for Bangalore Rural.
