<p>Terror group Islamic State (IS)’s leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has reportedly died, according to media reports.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Quoting Radio Iran, All India Radio tweeted saying "leader of the #ISIS terrorist group Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has died."<br /><br />Baghdadi is said to have "died in an Israeli hospital in Golan Heights," according to Radio Iran.<br /><br />The report is yet to be verified. <br /><br />The Guardian had reported last week that Baghdadi had received serious 'life-threatening' injuries during a US-led airstrike in March and that the strike had left him seriously wounded.<br /><br />It appeared that Baghdadi was a more compelling figure as compared to the "elderly and relatively colourless" Ayman al-Zawahri of Al Qaeda.</p>
