<p>About 45 tourists from Mysore who had gone to Haridwar arrived at Bangalore City Railway Station aboard Karnataka Express train on Tuesday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>They said though the Ganges at Haridwar was in spate, they did not face any problems being at a safe place. <br /><br />Meanwhile, Minister for Infrastructure Development and Information Santhosh Lad met over 150 pilgrims from Karnataka stranded in Badrinath and assured them of safe return home.<br /><br />Lad, who is camping in Uttarakhand since June 21, met the tourists at Badrinath, Gowrikund and Ramabad areas stranded for a fortnight. Information is being collected about all tourists from State and health camps and temporary shelters have now been set up.<br /><br />As per details available from helpline managed by Disaster Management Cell of Revenue Department, about 537 tourists from State are still stranded, while 818 tourists have been rescued.<br /><br />Apart from helplines, public have been requested to give details about stranded tourists to Revenue Department by calling helpline number 2225 3707 and 080-1070. <br /><br />One can also email to secyreliefrev@karnataka.gov.in and secy.dm@gmail.com. The details about stranded tourists once obtained will be conveyed to State governemnt as well as Uttarakhand government and required steps taken, said S M Nandappa from Revenue Department. <br /></p>
