The state government on Monday ordered the transfer of Dr N Manjula, who had two months ago become the first woman to head the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) in 20 years. The government has appointed Dr G C Prakash, a 2006-batch IAS officer, as the new commissioner of BDA.
