In the wake of the Budget session which is likely to be convened from February 8, the state government has postponed the Bengaluru International Film Festival (Biffes).
Biffes, which was earlier scheduled to be held between February 7 and 14, will no be held from February 21 to 28.
The 11th edition of the film festival will have over 200 films from over 60 countries that the expert committees will select. The films will be shown on 11 screens at PVR Cinemas in Orion Mall, Rajajinagar. Over 7,000 delegates are expected to participate.
Like in the previous editions, competitive sections for Asian, Indian and Kannada cinemas will continue with cash prizes.
