Pile-up hits KIA-bound vehicles at rush hour

Morning rush-hour traffic was disrupted along the busy road to the Kempegowda International Airport Road near the Sadahalli Gate following a pile-up involving three vehicles on Monday but no casualty was reported.

Two taxis and a private bus — all going towards the airport — were involved in the accident.

A taxi first rammed a stationary truck. Another cab then hit the first taxi but ended up being hit by the bus. The pile-up occurred in a fraction of seconds around 10.30 am and triggered a two-kilometre-long traffic jam.

Vehicles bound for the airport were particularly hit.
