Seven young faces on Forbes India Rich List

The young faces, who are below 40, have wealth in the range of USD 536 million to USD 4.2 billion.

One of the promoters of Dewan Housing & Finance, Dheeraj Wadhwan, at the age of 31, is the youngest Indian on the Forbes list. Wadhwan, along with his elder brother Kapil, 37, has a combined net worth of USD 650 million.

Further, the 35-year-old Shivinder Singh has emerged as the second youngest Indian billionaire on the list followed by Dynamix Balwas Group MD Shahid Balwa, who is just an year older than Singh.

Interestingly in terms of valuation, billionaire brothers Malvinder Singh, 37, and Shivinder are the wealthiest among the people below 40 on the list. They are at the 16th position with a combined networth of USD 4.2 billion.

While Balwa, with the 66th spot on the list, has a net worth of USD 1.06 billion.
Next comes Virendra Mhaiskar, who is the CMD of IRB Infrastructure Developers and Atul Ruia, the owner of Mumbai's High Street Phoenix Mall, both at the age of 39, have also managed to feature among the list of seven young faces.

Mhaiskar has bagged the 55th spot with a net worth of USD 1.17 billion while Ruia has grabbed the 96th position with a fortune of USD 536 million.

Where the list features some tycoons who have achieved big fortunes at the young age, it also has veterans like 87- year-old Brijmohan Lall Munjal (39th rank) of Hero Honda Group and Mahindra & Mahindra's Keshub Mahindra (50th rank), who is also of the same age.
