Fish death causes worry for residents in Hassan

The death of fish is on raise since Thursday. The authorities concerned have not bothered to check it.

Residents alleged that discharge of sewage water, dumping of rotten vegetable and other kinds of garbage into the tank by traders, have polluted the tank.
This is one of the reasons for the fish death.

Besides, debris dumped on the tank bund are not cleared by CMC staff.

They demanded the government to check further death of fish in Devikere and protecting the same.

They threatened to launch agitation if the government fails to fulfil their demands.
