Only 20 kms from MG Road, 15 kms from the South End Circle, and 12 km from the Banashankari Temple, Suvidha allows its residents to enjoy the benefits of a large metropolis without being subject to its noise, pollution and chaos. The built-up spaces of the village comprise only 15% (i.e., 4.5 acres) of the total area. The remaining 25.5 acres are being landscaped to enhance the ambience of the Village.

Conceived as a safe and comfortable haven for semi-retirees and retirees, the minimum age of at least one member of a two-some must be 55 years for qualifying to be permanent residents, the village is the property of Sushruta Vishranthi Dhama Limited, a closely held company, whose shareholders are allotted residential cottages. Each cottage is 80 sq m (900 sft built-up area) and affords a beautiful view of the surrounding hills, a large lake and the Bannerghatta National Park. Two hundred cottages have been built and 130 cottages have already been allotted to existing shareholders. A few shareholders have already converted their cottages in the Village into their permanent homes. Some others, who are Indian expatriates living abroad, are getting their cottages ready for use as their annual holiday homes in India. Many others are planning to use their cottages as weekend homes, away from the bustle of the city.

For residents, the Village has a large Club House, whose facilities will include a swimming pool, badminton and tennis courts, a health club, a putting range, separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian kitchens. The vegetarian kitchen is already catering to the residents and staff in the village. It is also catering to week end residents, their guests and visitors. A meeting room/recreation area and a banquet hall and safe-deposit locker are being used by the residents and non resident share holders. The Village is already connected with landline telephones and broadband internet through a 200-line exchange supplied by BSNL.

While at present a Medical Clinic has been set up in the Village, a nursing home for providing primary and emergency medical care for residents has been planned.
The shareholders of Suvidha form a broad spectrum of  people who have achieved their respective goals in the professions, in academia, in government and in businesses.
