The 26 inches tall Khagendra shot to fame after the Guinness Book of World Records enlisted him as the world's shortest man, while Urmila Chaudhary with 7'3 inch height was admitted to a hospital after she consumed poison hearing incessant remarks on her height.
"Who will marry this giraffe like tall girl?" asks her mother whose 18-year-old daughter was admitted to the Miteri Hospital here.

Though she survived the suicide bid, Urmila has been diagnosed with diabetes and tumour. But, the family cannot bear the cost of the treatment.

Now she is being treated at the hospital, where beds have been clubbed together to accommodate her.

According to doctors, she is suffering from excessive secretion of growth hormones, which caused her unusual growth.
