She was speaking after laying foundation stone to various programmes under Suvarna Grama Yojana at Kundalagarki village on Thursday.
One per cent loan
The State government is contemplating to provide loan at one per cent interest to farmers to free the farmers from loan burdens, she added. Karntaka is the first state to introduce Sandhya Suraksha yojana that ensures social security of senior citizens.
Under the Suvarna Grama Yojana, the government has released Rs 26 lakh to Kundalagurki village, she said.
Deputy Commissioner N Manjula, Zilla Panchayat deputy secretary Zulfikarulla, Tahsildar Mallikarjun and others were present.
