<p>Bengaluru: Bangalore Central BJP MP PC Mohan, whose 2024 victory has been questioned by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, said “thousands of Hindus” had voted for his party, rubbishing claims that he won due to manipulation in the voters list. </p><p>Mohan, a four-time MP, won against Congress' Mansoor Ali Khan by 32,707 votes in a contest that went down to the wire. BJP didn’t win Mahadevapura through manipulation. We won because Hindus voted decisively against dynasty, appeasement, and entitlement. Rahul Gandhi must learn: minority-dominated constituencies are not Congress property. The voter is supreme. Accept the mandate," Mohan said. </p><p>Mohan asked Congress why it did not file a lawsuit if over a lakh votes had been stolen in Mahadevapura. "...why wasn’t a case filed in court within 45 days instead of holding a press conference one year later? This is just another drama," he said. </p><p><strong>Mansoor Ali Khan flays Mohan</strong></p><p>Mansoor Ali Khan, who is also a Congress secretary, slammed Mohan for making this a Hindu-Muslim issue. </p><p>"Over one lakh fake voters and electoral fraud taking place in your own constituency, and your first response is to play Hindu-Muslim communal card?" Khan said, adding that Rahul had "exposed" the fraud. "Instead of accountability, you chose communal gaslighting. Typical and shameful," he said. </p>
