Air travel concessions for para military forces

The discount covers personnel and family members of Border Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Coast Guards, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Assam Rifles, Railway Protection force, Intelligence Bureau and Sashastra Seema Bal.

Except apex fares, a discount of 50 per cent on the basic fare component will be available on all fare levels in the economy class for domestic sectors only.

The discount will be available on production of official ID issued by the unit commandant.
The Child concession of 50 per cent fare has now been extended to all levels of economy class except on apex fares on domestic sectors from January 24, 2011. Children who have completed two years but have not completed 12 years of age are eligible for the discount on the basic fare component.

Effective January 22, 2011, the Senior Citizen’s Discount has been made uniform for men and women. Now any person who has crossed the age of 63 years can avail a discount of 50 per cent on the basic fare component of the normal economy class fare under the scheme.
