The 45-year-old actress made the news public during an enthusiastic surprise appearance on the show. The former 'Two and a Half Men' star burst in, swore at the audience and landed a kiss on Kimmel's lips as the host was half way through interviewing US entrepreneur Mark Cuban.
"I can't stay, I can't stay, I got a show to write," said Sheen who then distributed a bag of 'Winning' merchandise to the crowd. According to reports swirling yesterday the actor may be back on television sooner rather than later.
NBC News quoted sources close to Sheen as saying that CBS had offered the actor back his job on the hit comedy 'Two and A Half Men', but no deal had been struck and discussions were ongoing. Elsewhere, The Hollywood Reporter said Sheen met with senior executives at rival network Fox last week for talks.
