JOIN USThe registration will be done at the post office in the town and everybody including children above the age of two should register for the Aadhar, it added.
People should submit the form, available free of cost and along with a photocopy of voters’ ID card and ration card. After verification of documents, the officers concerned will take photograph, fingerprints and retina scan. No fee is charged for processing or for issuance of card.
Apart from voters’ ID card and ration card, people can also submit photocopies of DL, PAN card, Passport, ID card issued by any Govt agency, MGNREGs PAN card, Revolver Licence, any ATM card, Pension card, Kisan Credit Card, Freedom Fighters ID card, Bank and Post Office pass books, Income Tax return and Income and Caste certificate in support of age and address proof. Students can submit photocopies of their school record for age proof.
Barring Sundays and public holidays, registration is done at the post office from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.
