But the Karnataka government is yet to follow suit.<br /><br />“The book is being banned not because of its content but because of factionalism and infighting within the BJP,” said Congress spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP, Jayanthi Natarajan.<br /><br />She, however, reiterated that the Congress rejected Singh’s views on Jinnah.<br /><br />The Congress also accused the BJP of maintaining double standards towards its own leaders. It said the BJP had adopted different yardsticks for L K Advani and Singh, although both had drawn flak for their comments on Jinnah.</p>
