There are only three lines in the inscription.<br /><br />It deals with the donation of a piece of land in Koyalaguli by one Kundaya to one Bora in Pingala samvatsara. It is said the inscription will help study the historical background of the name Kojaguli. <br /><br />“The words Pirungo and Koyaguli in the second line are Tulu words. The script of the inscription indicates that it belongs to 15th century,” said MSRS College Shirva faculty Prof T Murugeshi in a release.</p>
