Government to hike support price for arecanut crop

The price of the arecanut is crashing, while the cost of cultivation is going up steadily. As a result, arecanut farmers, especially in Dakshina Kannada and Malnad region, are in bad condition, he explained.  Shetty was speaking to reporters after holding a meeting with the CM.
