<p>Due to continuous bad weather conditions in Kashmir Valley for more than a week, arrangements for the pilgrimage to the 3,880 metre-high holy shrine of Amarnath in Himalayas has become a major problem for the authorities.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Official said clearance work on the yatra track and other arrangements have been hampered due to continuous downpour. Reports said there was two to three inches of snowfall in some areas of Sonamarg including Baltal Base Camp on Monday evening.<br /><br />“The weather this year is following unusual pattern. Due to continuous rainfall in Pahalgam and Baltal base camp areas and incessant snowfall in higher reaches of the yatra route, we aren’t able to clear the tracks and make necessary arrangements at the Base Camps well in time,” Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board CEO Navin Choudhary said.</p>
