A woman Sub Inspector created a flutter before a fast track court in Coonoor, about 18 from here, alleging that the judge had had an affair with her for the last three years and now planned to ditch her to marry another woman.
Police said the SI rushed to Coonoor on coming to know that the judge was getting married and and started telling the public of her relationship with the judge. However she was whisked away by a senior police official and taken to nearby police station.
The 24-year-old woman SI claimed police refused to register her complaint and was later taken to Coimbatore to meet senior officials, the sources said.
