Globalisation will not affect Kannada culture: Nallur

“The annual festivals of the temples are the symbols of cultural life and unity of people in the region. These festivals help in keeping away the caste system as people come united to celebrate the festivals forgetting the differences which would separate them otherwise,” he said.

Programme was inaugurated by Arameri Kalancheri Mutt Shanthamallikarjuna Swamiji who said that the annual festivals help in developing religious and spiritual bent of mind among the people.

Donors P S Bellyappa and Krishnojirao were felicitated. Temple Committee President V N Vasanth Kumar presided over the programme. ZP Member V P Shashidhar among others were present.
