The City police were put on high alert, on Saturday, following the series of terror
attacks in Paris, the capital of France.
Prathap Reddy, Additional Commissioner of Police (West), said, “We have directed police personnel to keep a tight vigil at places where there is heavy movement of people. As usual, the police will be on rounds and the public should bring anything suspicious to their notice.”
Another top police officer said, “People are being frisked at the airport, railway station and
bus terminus. Additionally, policemen at the entry points to the City have been directed to keep a strict watch on the movements of vehicles coming into Bengaluru. A few policemen have been deployed at important places and buildings. The public should also be alert.”
