Woman kicks friend out of car, steals vehicle to recover loan

She is a trained Karate practitioner

A 31-year-old woman kicked a friend out of his car and made away with it as loan repayment. On Monday, the Yelahanka police traced the suspect, Vaidehi, to her native, Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh and arrested her for theft.

According to the police, she took Manjunath’s car, a Tata Innova, as he was delaying the repayment of loans he had borrowed from her. Manjunath, a resident of Judicial Layout in Yelahanka is into jelly crushing business. He met Vaidehi through a common friend about four years ago.

The two became good friends and Vaidehi allowed him to use eight of her trucks for his business. Soon the two were part of several financial transactions, said the police.

Vaidehi would stay at Manjunath’s house when she visited the City and used his car here. When she was recently in the City, she asked him to drop her to the Kempegowda International Airport.

 On the way, she kicked him out of the car and fled with it. She is a trained Karate practitioner, added the police.

She took the car to Tirupathi and parked it at a friend’s house, said the police.When she did not heed his pleas to return the car, Manjunath lodged a complaint. The police collected Vaidehi’s call details and arrested her.
