Prajavani quiz tomorrow

Prajavani, in association with Online Career Institute, will conduct a quiz competition for schoolchildren on January 7 at Platinum Jubilee Hall of the Mysuru Medical College and Research Institute, at J K Grounds, in the city.

Additional Regional Commissioner M R Ravi and Joint Director for Public Instruction Basavaraju will be the guests during the inaugural session, scheduled to be held at 9 am.

The competition is a part of the State-level championship being held from January 6 to 16.

The competitions will be held across the State in eight divisions before the State finals and students from 1,000 schools are expected to participate in the competitions.

Prizes worth a total of Rs 1.65 lakh can be won. Winners of first prize in finals will get Rs 50,000 as cash prize.  The second prize winners will get Rs 10,000 worth tabs each (both members). The third prize winners will get Rs 5,000 worth mobile phones each and the fourth prize winners will get Rs 2,000 worth gift vouchers each. Call: 97393 37799.
