JOIN USRains receded in several parts of the state while there were reports of moderate rains in Shivamogga and Kodagu districts.
Moderate rains lashed Shivamogga, Bhadravathi, Hosanagar, Sagar, Thirthahalli, some parts of Shikaripur and Sorab taluks for a short period on Friday.
Though Hosanagar witnessed cloudy weather throughout the day, it received scanty rains.
The remaining part of the district had cloudy weather.
Kodagu district too received moderate rainfall.
In the last 24 hours (ended at 8.30 am on Friday), the
district recorded rainfall of 10.31 mm.
Five houses have been damaged in Nagammanamenti village in Mullusoge gram panchayat limits in Kushalnagar taluk, after the compound walls collapsed.
Water level in Harangi reservoir was 2,852 ft against the maxmimum of 2,859 foot.
