Or alternatively, inhale from the right nostril and exhale from the left nostril slowly for 11 times. <br /><br /><em>*Throat infection:</em> Breathe through the left nostril 21 times during early morning.<br /><br /><em>*Hypertension: </em>Inhale forcefully through the left nostril and exhale slowly through the right nostril. On severe episodes of hypertension, block the active swara until you feel better. For better meditation, activate both nostrils. It will give better results to reduce hypertension. <br /><br /><em>*Low Blood Pressure: </em>Inhale forcefully through the right nostril and exhale slowly through the left nostril. <br /><br /><em>*Prevention of cough: </em>After waking up inhale and exhale through Ida naadi (both nostrils) for 51 times and try consume water throughout the day.
