LED TV stolen from police chief's office

 An LED television set was stolen from the DG&IGP's office on Nrupatunga Road on Monday, reports DHNS.
 A complaint was registered at the jurisdictional Halasuru Gate police station on Tuesday. The 22-inch wall-mounted television had gone missing from the seventh floor common conference room on Monday night.

On Tuesday morning, the officer in charge, Narasim­hamurthy, noticed the TV missing. Initially, he thought the maintenance staff had taken it for repairs. But later, when he realised the television had gone missing, he registered a theft complaint with Halasuru Gate police station.

The CCTV footage did not show the television being carried away. The police are investigating.
