Conspiracy against BSY in BJP itself: Yatnal

MLC Basavaraj Patil Yatnal opined that a conspiracy has been hatched inside the BJP to weaken the party to prevent B S Yeddyurappa from becoming the chief minister.

"Mr Yeddyurappa is open for my return to the BJP, but Jagadish Shetar and Pralhad Joshi are against it. I also played a major role in building the BJP in the State," he said.

He told media persons here on Saturday that original workers in the BJP are neglected, and migrants are getting importance.

Shriram Sena chief Pramod Muthalik, who was present with him, noted that all parties in the State have lost the confidence of people.

On joining Shiv Sena

Mr Patil and Mr Muthalik noted that discussion is on regarding their entry to Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena is a nationalist and pro-Hindutva party, which is growing as a national party alternative to the BJP

Another round of talks would be held with Maharashtra Health Minister Deepak Savanth in Bengaluru on November 29. We would join Shiv Sena only if a consensus is achieved regarding the State's interests in border, language and water disputes between Karnataka and Maharashtra, they added.
