Kajol to be conferred with Dinanath Puraskar

The award will be handed to her by legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar on April 24 at the Shanmukhanand auditorium in Mumbai.

The award would consist of a memento and cash prize of Rs 50,000.
The other awardees include singer Hariharan and Pandit Shivanand Patil in the field of music, Prashant Damle for the best drama of the year 'Bahurupi'.

Others include Naseema Hurzuk, founder of helpers of  the handicapped who will be conferred with the Anandmayee Puraskar. Actor Mohan Joshi will be awarded for his contribution to theatre and Madhu Mangesh Karnik for literature.Shanta Sheke Saraswati award would be given to Prof Vasant Abaji Dahake for his dedicated services in poetry.
