Mayor warns Palike officials

He was speaking at the felicitation ceremony organised by Jayanagar Residents’ Welfare Association here recently.

“A few officials are under the impression that they can still dictate terms and work according to their whims and fancies. However, it is time they realise that the elected body will not permit such activities,” he warned.

He said the first general body meeting of the Palike had to be stalled due to unruly behaviour of a few corporators of the opposition parties. He promised to take measures to convert the Bangalore City into an ideal one in the country.

Jayanagar MLA BN Vijaykumar thanked residents of Jayangar for electing BJP candidates from his constituency.
