<p>In his affidavit filed before the Court, H P Ramanjaneya, the retired employee facing civil contempt proceedings, said he had no intention of disobeying the orders of the court.<br /><br />He has stated that he was presented with 42 sale deeds executed by Karnataka State Judicial Department Employees’ Housing Society president Shivalingaiah along with an authorisation letter signed by the latter. <br /><br />He has contended that he discharged his official duty and registered the documents as there was no occasion to suspect signatures, and hence has not committed any offence.</p>
