Muralitharan has invited Mandeep Singh Dhillon, HOD of the orthopedics department of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research to witness his final Test.
“It’s a great honour which he has given me,” Dhillon, also a former consultant of the Lankan team, said. Dhillon who will fly to Lanka on Tuesday said he is taking along a gift for the ace spinner. “It’s a personal gift, which I would not like to disclose.”
Dhillon, who was working as consultant in the Island nation, had designed the special brace for Muralitharan when his case was presented to the ICC in 2003-04.
