Narrating the entire episode of abduction to media persons here on Friday, IVRCL Manager Rajeshwarachary said that he had reached MSEZ office at 10.30 am on August 16 to submit the tender documents as 1 pm was the deadline to submit the same. He had entered his name in the register at the entrance of the office. When he turned around, he found that two men sitting at the lobby were walking out with his brief case which had the tender documents.

“I followed the two into the elevator and inside the lift they warned me to remain silent. On reaching the ground floor, they bundled me into a car and then took me to Kateel-Mulky areas,” said Rajeshwarachary adding that the kidnappers had later kept him in a hotel in the city till 8 pm, as the deadline for submission was extended till 7.30 pm by MSEZL.

Meanwhile, the senior officials of the company had received a phone call from a particular mobile number informing about the kidnapping of Rajeshwarachary.

The officials had directly lodged a complaint with Barke police and had also informed MSEZL authorities about the incident, requesting them to provide some more time for them to file the tender document.

Suspect BJP

Rajeshwarachary informed that he suspects it was the handy work of the ruling party BJP because the kidnappers were speaking constantly to someone or the other over the phone and during one such conversations, the kidnappers had said that they are forced to kidnap him because MSEZ has not been co-operating with them and they have not been able to do anything despite their own party being in power.

Rajeshwarachary clarifying that the kidnappers did not torture him added that the duo who kidnapped him had checked out from his hotel room on his behalf and later made him board a bus to Bangalore. One of the kidnappers accompanied him till Bangalore.
