HIMS appointments: HC directs seizure of hard disk

Justice Rammohan Reddy while hearing a petition by Vedavathi and others challenging their termination order observed that wide publicity had not been given for the recruitment and norms have been violated while awarding grace marks to the candidates.The matter has been adjourned.

The Medical Education Department has issued show cause notices to four officials asking them why they should not be suspended for irregularities in recruitments to Mysore and Hassan medical colleges.

The notices have been served on Director of Mysore Medical College Dr Venkatesh, Chief Administrative Officer Nagaraj, Director of Mandya Medical College Dr Gangadhar and Chief Administrative Officer Jayaram. The officers have been asked to reply to the notices within three days. The department would take further action based on their replies.
