The youngest participant at the event is now  busy developing and improvising an unmanned army tank that can be controlled from a distance through vision robotics using web cameras.

His venture into the world of robotics started at the age of 10 with the building of a robot model to pick up things using  its hands.

While he was in class 8, he built another robot which could kick a ball. Then, he had participated in a competition organised by IIT-Mumbai meant for engineering students and was adjudged as the best participant. Now he is in class 11 at the Vivek High School in Chandigarh.

Fateh says he wants to pursue higher studies in robotics in the US. His interest and rare skills has led to IIT-Mumbai setting up a Think Lab in his school to give other students a chance to understand robotics.
