Two persons were charred to death in a car near Pushpagiri Hills in the Belur taluk of Hassan district on late Friday night.
The bodies in the I10 car were burned beyond recognition. Cause of fire and the identity of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
Hassan Superintendent of Police Rahul Kumar visited the spot.
The Halebid police have registered a case and investigations are underway.
