Kargahar Assembly Constituency (AC No 209) in Rohtas district goes to polls on October 28, 2020

Bihar Election Result: The Election Commission on November 10 declared the winner of Kargahar Assembly Constituency (AC No 209) in Rohtas district which went to polls on October 28, 2020.

Santosh Kumar Mishra of the Indian National Congress won the Kargahar seat beating Janata Dal (United) candidate Bashisth Singh by a margin of 4083 votes.

In Bihar Assembly Election 2015, JD(U) candidate Bashisht Singh won Kargahar constituency seat with a margin of 7.3% securing 57018 votes against RLSP candidate Birendra Kumar Singh.
