Bihar Assembly Election Result 2020: Tarapur Assembly Constituency

Bihar Election Result: The Election Commission on November 10 declared the winner of Tarapur Assembly Constituency (AC No 164) in Munger district which went to polls on October 28, 2020. Mewa Lal Choudhary of the Janata Dal (United) won the Tarapur seat beating Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Divya Prakash by a margin of 7225 votes.

In Bihar Assembly Election 2015, JD(U) candidate M L Choudhary won Tarapur constituency seat with a margin of 7.8% securing 66411 votes against Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) candidate Sakuni Choudhary.
